Henry's Poem - left by an admirer
There's a horse on 11th Avenue

Check out the Pearl Bakery horse story - it's a long one!

These horses were put out and photographed by Dan and his "Little Brother" (of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America) Jonathan. They went to the central library first and looked up some books on knot-making, then on a search for rings. Great job guys!

Someone brought this horse some hay! What a great idea!
After a while, someone took the horses, but left the hay, so I replaced the horse.
Someone added some cool, very professional-looking signs to a bunch of horses in the downtown area. The implications are pretty clear in the pictures.

One of them seems to say "don't spray paint the ponies". This must have given someone the idea to do exactly the thing the sign said not to do, because a day or two after the signs were added, someone painted a couple of the horses and wrote the word "value" on them. They also painted the words "value horse" on an electrical box and a construction barricade.

Unfortunate irony in this picture.
